Panagiotis Partsinevelos

Dr. Panagiotis Partsinevelos is an Assistant Professor in the area of computational analysis in GIS and Remote Sensing. He received his PhD in Spatial Information Science & Engineering from the University of Maine, part of the National Center for Geographic Information and Analysis (NCGIA) in USA. He holds a Dipl. Eng. degree in Surveying Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens. He has worked as a postdoctoral researcher in the Academic and Research Computer Technology Institute, Greece and as a GIS expert in the public sector. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mineral Resources Engineering in the Technical University of Crete. (CV).

Tripolitsiotis Achilleas

Mr. Tripolitsiotis Achilles is a graduate of the Department of Mineral Resources Engineering, Technical University of Crete and also holds M.Sc. (2003) from the same institution. The main focus is to develop GNSS table. His research interests cover the fields of Geodesy, Remote Sensing and GIS in environmental applications as well as applications of modern geodetic methods in civil engineering.

Kyritsis Sarantis

Mr. Kyritsis has received his diploma from the Department of Electronic and Computer Engineering, Technical University of Crete. Currently, he is a postgraduate student under the supervision of A. Prof. Partsinevelos. His research interests cover the fields of Embedded Systems, GIS in environmental applications as well as applications of UAVs.

Angelos Antonopoulos

Mr. Antonopoulos was born in Athens on 1995. Today he is an undergraduate student in ECE department of Technical University of Crete. His research interests vary from Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(UAV) applications using embedded systems, to hardware programming and Computer Vision.

Stelios Tsatsarounos

Mr. Tsatsarounos was born in Athens, Greece in 1991. Currently, he is a postgraduate student from the Department of Mineral Resources Engineering at Technical University of Crete, under the supervision of A. Prof. Partsinevelos. His main skills revolve around Petroleum and Gas Engineering, ROVER robots, as well as Economics and Management. His research interests also include GIS in environmental applications and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles(UAV).

Stathis Bikos

Mr. Bikos was born in Athens, Greece. Currently, he is a senior undergraduate student of the Department of Μechanical Production and Management Engineering at Technical University of Crete. His interestes revolve around manufacturing, modeling and prototyping research and RC models. He has modest experience with drone and analog circuit boards prototyping.

Nikos Prokas

Mr. Prokas was born in Mytilene, Lesvos, Greece in 1991. As a student at ECE Technical University of Crete, he specializes in Embedded Systems Engineering and at the moment he is a undergraduate student under the supervision of A. Prof. Dollas and A. Prof. Partsinevelos. His main skills are C, C++, Matlab, Arduinos and Embedded Linux. His current research interests cover the fields of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, AVR programming and Remote Sensing Applications.

Andreas Pitsiladis

Mr Andreas Pitsiladis is a Computer Scientist graduated from the Computer Science Department of the University of Crete. He is currently a postgraduate student of the Electronic & Computer Engineering Department of the Technical University of Crete. His research interests include Culture and Tourism Applications and E-learning Infrastructures.

Mr. Zervos has received his diploma from the Department of Mineral Resources Engineering, Technical University of Crete. His research interests cover the fields of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV), GIS in environmental applications.

John Agadakos

Mr. John Agadakos is a professional Computer Engineer. He holds a Diploma in Electronic and Computer Engineering and a Master of Science Degree, both from the Technical University of Crete. Currently he is a PhD student at the Computer Science department in the Stevens Institute of Technology. His current research interests revolve around Privacy and Security, Internet of Things and embedded devices.
